Battle Family Philanthropy

The Battle family is passionate about the power of education and the need to improve access to education for students of lower economic status.

Grateful for their own educational opportunities, the Battles have been supporting scholarships for first generation college students since 2007, first through the Berkeley Community Fund, and later launching a similar program at the Foster-Glocester Regional School district in Rhode Island, where Skip grew up. They hope to contribute to these causes through Battle Family Vineyards.
